What does it mean to truly follow Jesus when he leads us into places we’d rather avoid? In John 4, Jesus goes through Samaria and meets a woman carrying shame, brokenness, and a hidden past. Through their encounter, we discover that discipleship means confronting our biases, surrendering what we’ve kept in the dark, and receiving the living water only Jesus can provide. True transformation begins not with performance, but with surrender.
